EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
With an M.A. in Counseling Psychology and foundational training in Buddhist Psychology, I bring over two decades of clinical experience to my work, offering clients a compassionate and insightful approach grounded in a long-term professional perspective.
In addition to being a licensed therapist in Washington State, I am an art therapist and certified meditation instructor. I have trained extensively in CBT, DBT, NLP, and a range of experiential, insight-oriented methods. My comprehensive training in neurodivergence and experience with diverse populations provide me with deep cultural insight and the ability to address a wide range of psychological concerns. Most importantly, I aspire to create an inclusive, nonjudgmental, and emotionally safe space for all. I have been told by people in their work with me that they feel safe, seen, valued, and empowered.
EDUCATION
BA Psychology - University of Washington
MA Transpersonal Counseling Psychology with a Concentration in Art Therapy - Naropa University
Unique things ABOUT ME
Personally, I will always choose to socialize with people’s pets over people themselves. I love being in the water. I find the sun to be highly over-stimulating, which makes me a big-time winter person. I also almost exclusively drink sparkling water. Special-interest-wise, I have extensive training in ethnobotany and herbalism, I have traveled to really unique and challenging places like rural western Mongolia and the Red Desert in Wyoming, and I create highly detailed Buddhist thangka paintings.
